In a bit of maniacal knitting that included nodding off over the needles at 1 AM, I finished the bag this morning.
Doing this the scientific way for once…
Pattern: Booga Bag exactly (except forgot to do final row count – knit until I ran out)
Yarn: 2 hanks Big Kureyon + 3 1/4 balls Mohair
Needles: 9 mm 24” circular (could have gone up a size, but didn’t want to buy) + 9 mm short dp’s for I-cord
Final pre-felting stats: Bag base 13” x 7”, top about 40” around (so no major loss or gain in circumference), about 16” tall. I-cord about 6.5’.
Letting the washer do the work now, but since I have a front loading, this may take a while. Going to peruse my books for tips on encouraging felting.
Pics when done…
